6 armed blue linckia

Just "rescued" a rather large (6 inches across) blue linckia from Petco for only $13. I noticed it has 6 arms though. Otherwise it looks exactly like any pic of a blue linkia i've seen. Is this unusual or does arm number vary from specimen to specimen?

Most individuals have 5 arms, but 6 isn't uncommon.
