thanks guntercb,i dont own the mill or lathe,i just happen to work where there is one.you are gonna have to wait on the tank stand build till after christmas.between the gift giving and my ski trip in 2 weeks,i wont have the money to start the project till january at the earliest.but i do have my autocad drawings of the tank,i doubt i could show them here.they are in a CAD format and i dont think you could see them without having CAD.

Yeah, I use to work at as a machinist while in college so I had access to all kind of great machining tools. Oh how do I miss having assess to the mill and lathe. I would be making all kind of gadgets.

I am going to send you a PM and get you to e-mail me your CAD files. I have can open AutoCad.
