6 Week Hyposalinity for Ich Failed?

Has 6 weeks hyposalinity (~1.009) and display being empty of fish for that same 6 weeks failed to clear ich permanently in someones tank?
(Assuming all new fish going through the same hypo perioid and corals etc. being in QT for minimum 4 weeks.)

Can this happen? Any new information of ich possibly being dormant for longer perioids?

Sorry for bad reprensation. These are all just questions in my earlier post. I have never tried hypo treatment, but i'm thinking of doing it soon.

I heard that some new studies might say that ich could be dormant for longer perioids, but this is only hearsay.

This is why i asked if anyone has had first hand experience of that happening, or link to a fresh trust worthy information.

Oh, ok.

I have run into more problems with the wrong measurments or not the right level when doing hypo, or the refract is not calibrated right to achieve the optimal level to rid the parasite.

Terry B from what I have seen posted is or has written some articles on ich.

And to be honest, I am not sure if there is a "super" strain that does OK, or is not affected by hypo, maybe a possibility? I think I'll search around too.
