Sfiligoi makes some nice fixtures but thats a little steep for me. I was looking at their Led/T5 fixtures a while back. I own the stealth T5 fixture now and its great but dont know if I could drop over 3k on one.

my tank got cloudy...I did some tests and my alk was at 6.7 I dosed it up to 7.5 no change in the cloudiness, I have no dosers on right now, the only other parameter off is my nitrates, which seem to have gone up since my water change...that looks like 25 to me what do you think?

also as far as lighting goes, I was stuck on LEDs but from everything I have heard, I won't get good SPS growth with only LEDs so I have started considering T5/LED combos, what do you guys like? also considering just a 60" 10 or 12 x 54 watt LED fixture...Noise is a big concern of mine so if the fans are loud, I'm over it...

That's a bacterial bloom caused by biopellets. Some water changes and a few days should resolve itself.

Anyone know of a good 60" 12 x 54 watt T5 light out there? I think I am going to go with that for now til I can get LEDs that are proven to grow SPS well for under 3K...

60" T5 bulbs will be 80 Watts. Check put the ATI fixtures. I also like the Sfiligoi fixtures.

go with an ati 8x80 watt sunpower. or powermodule if your picky about looks. looking good, i am setting up the exact dimension tank with external overflows. love the room it gives you for rock work. keep the posts coming.

Anyone know about the ATI fixtures? mostly wondering about the 5 fans...are they loud? I have spent a lot of time designing the tank to hear nothing more than falling water, all the plumbing is designed to be as quiet as possible, the skimmer is very quiet, the returns are almost silent, if the fixture is loud I have to get something else...

Also, I got a ECO396 submersible pump for my bio pellet reactor, it is very loud, I hear it over everything, it has to go, anyone else recommend a very quiet 400 gph-ish pump?
