60 cube Build

I thought I would share this with ya'll. I have to sell the big tank so I thought I would set up a small one to have fun with. I will post pics later I'm at work now so I can't.

Blue Line MH 175w Retro Kit with 10K Super White Bulb

IceCap 430 Ballast with Two 24" T5 URI Super Actinic Bulbs
IceCap 430 Ballast with Two 24" T5 URI Actinic White Bulbs

Monitor/ Controller:
ReefKeeper Lite

Powerheads:
2 Maxi-Jet 1200 / Sure Flow 2000+ GPH (will be on 4min wavemaker)

Heater:
Jager 150w 13" Submersible (will be in the skimmer)

Maybe I'll have water in it this weekend.

nice tank I need something like that for my office oh off topic but what knid of bike is that it looks like it needs some tires no tread and gum balls on the edges ever been to barbers it like two miles from my house

Thanks Guys. I seen a 60c about 10 years ago that I thought was cool so I figured I would try it.

It's a aprilia RSV1000R Factory.. I have been to Barbers many time, but I haven't been able to do a track day there yet. Those are new tires they have one day on them.

Here's a few pics. I still need to install the two 24" T5's on the left side. I received the new skimmer pump today I'll get that on tomorrow. My MP20 will be here Thur so I can get that going and take out those ugly powerheads. I think I'm going to but 2 more super actinics I'm not liking the actinc white bulbs. It's getting there. I had a little heat problem so I went to Wal Mart and bought a fan to get me buy until I could get one here. It's ghetto but sometimes you have to improvise. I think the heater was the problem and not the lights. I unpluged the heater and put the fan blowing on the light and the tem dropped 4 degrees in about 2hrs.

I hope to catch the chromis tomorrow and get them moved over. My frags will be here Wed. I need to get a clean up crew and I'll be good to go.

Here are some upated pics of the 60 Cube... The Super Actinic bulbs went out, they would burn, so I replaced them with the Actinic White. The pics were aken with my cell phone so the color is a little off. When I get the time and extra money I'm going to replace the 10 MH with a 15k or 20k. Thats about it..

Thanks, the 60 cube is a nice size. I have always liked them. I tried to get the trigger out when I had the 360, but I couldn't catch it. So he wil be in the 60 until he gets to big.

Not to bike jack your thread .. But i did my Ed Bargy road bike school at Barbers it was unreal !!!!!! If you ever get a chance to do it i recommend it highly.. They offer the school before every wera event there and the cost wasn't to bad.. I went and watched the ama and wera for a long time before i tried it and all i can say is that it something you need to do even if it is just for one time
