Nice progress. Probably early days yet, but are you seeing any colouring up of the Acros?

Hey Sahin, yes definitely early days, but I am noticing some coloring up of the acros! Especially the Shades of fall. The Neon green Abrolhosensis has bleached slightly, but shows more growth and PE than all of the others oddly enough. I will take some comparison pics in a couple of weeks.

Yes for now I have decided to. The tank was going to be only acropora, but my girlfriend has decided that she really like zoanthids and lps :hmm3::debi:

Sooo I figured I would compromise and allow her to fill the BB with zoanthids. :spin1:

Can you tell us a little more about your dosing design?

No Problem Frank. It is pretty standard/straight forward. I haven't experiences any kind of significant drop in Cal, Alk ,Mag yet, so there has been no dosing. But feel free to ask whatever you'd like and I will do my best to answer!

Oh I almost forgot, I also picked up a midas blenny, and a tailspot blenny for the tank. Now I am just looking for the perfect CBB!

Ah, nothing to do with dosing. One is for Carbon, one for GFO, and one for Biopellets. For now those last two are empty, but it is nice to have them online and ready just in case I need to add some GFO or BP at some point. Right now however I cant seem to get any reading for NO3 or PO4.. so who knows.

Ya, the only ones I care for are acans, cyphastrea and of course she wants to fill the tank with torch and hammer corals and anemones... NO THANKS :uzi: lol. But we shall see, she may end up winning in some way anyway.

A little update, I picked up a CBB last friday and he is doing well, eating frozen food. Also picked up a nice frag/ mini colony of SSC (looks like it could be a pink lemonade too), but was told it was an SSC. The girlfriend got herself a frag of Zoanthids (her favorite ), and my neighbor gave me a browned out digi frag and a tiny galaxia that weren't doing well in his tank.

Again the plan for this tank is ACROS ONLY. Ugh. Oh well, the GF can have her zoanthids, and ill grow and trade the others lol. By then I will be able to give big frags back to my neighbor!
