Wanted to share some pics of my build, I started a thread awhile back but can't find it. I already have my rock cycling and water made up. I am I college student with limited tools but here is my progress

You're giving me a pain in the neck :)

Not too far different from what I did with my 60g cube. I'm very happy with mine.

How do u like that light? Cause I was gonna buy a couple for my 75 but I was not sure

Sure is a tough thing to be...

I've had my Halo for about a year now. Corals are developing excellent color, the 1st $5 brown acro frag I bought to see how it'd do is now a brilliant green, and has more than doubled in size.

Pros: I like the form factor. The built in controller is simple, and does what I need it to do. The mount is secure, looks good, and hides the wires. Color in my corals are excellent. No disco ball effect. I only need 1 on my cube, but if you need multiples, chaining them together is simple, and clean. It's very similar to a Kessel 360... I like the Halo better.

Cons: Single point spotlight causes shading as corals grow. This applies to all single point lights... Growth rates are not what I was getting under 3x 400w 20k Radiums many years ago. Can't say for sure if it's the lighting, or some other factor, there are many possibilities.

I've considered swapping it out... looked into a 250w halide, but I don't want to deal with the heat. Looked at an 8x24" T5, but I don't like the look. Looked at an AI Hydra 26 HD... still looking, really... I really like the Hydra 26, but it's a cost I'm not sure I can justify.
