Did you notice a major difference in the skimmer output when you went from the stock pump to the tunze? I have an IN-180 Vertex and was considering doing the same.

Somewhat. I don't have a huge bioload, so there's only so much I can pull out. It does seem to be MUCH more sensitive to water height and anything that gets dropped in the tank than with the OEM pump. No matter what I do, it tends to skim a bit wet which is fine by me.

Above all though, the thing is virtually silent.
