60 gal cube azoo

Kreeger1

KING LEAR
Just starting to gather all the components for my second go round with the Non photo corals.

I purchased the 24x24x24 marineland cube tank and the current usa disco ball 150 mh light to go over top of it.
The light was more of a design or looks purchase, I think it looks really cool is all.

I have a massive skimmer that ran my 500 gal system I will be using on the tank to handle all the food. I have vertec media reactor that I will be using vodka pellets in.

I will be purchasing 2 mp-10's for the tank, one for each side of the back panel.

Just a teaser post I guess, stay tuned...

The slim over flow is really nice. Space saver for sure. I don't have anything going in it but I'll keep ya posted :)

Erik, following along.

Working on a 50 gallon Azoo cube build right now. http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/sh....php?t=1773991 I would be interested in your opinion on the NP Biopellets once you have been using them for a few months. Have been following Danny Dame view of the on a Dutch reef keeping site. If you would like the link to site, tell me and I will PM you.

The slim overflow is centered and not the corner correct? Sedar told me about it but he was not sure of the drain sizes, he thought they were 2 x 3/4 which is kind of a bummer as I want to run a Herbie system, would love to see a pic of the tank

one is 3/4 one is 1 inch. I think, there not the same size thats for sure.
Picks soon, I've been sick a few days and work has loaded up too. Plus selling a few things from the old systems has eaten up the free time.

I still have a nice piece of serdar's Blue sponge that will make it back in the new tank and I have Chucks black barrel sponge that I pimped out at the frag swaps a few times too.
Looking forward to the dark side again. This time a much more manageable amount of water. 500 plus gals just to much, lol.

seeing this tank many times is what got me going the first time around, seeing more success others are having is bringing me back

I also plan on keeping these again as well,

Yeah, let me know when you're in the area! Just a small piece, my tank is overstocked already :) I'm setting up a bigger one now though.

The black barrel sponge is definitely an amazing find, especially for being a hitchhiker originally. It is beautiful and one of the very few barrel sponges that is relatively easy to take care for. The frag you gave me has grown into three large barrels and continues to grow.
