They all seem to be doing well. The naso set to cleaning algae from a few of the rocks almost immediately.
The trigger just cruises around and the little chromis still get blown everywhere.
I have been adding a bunch of corals so I can consolidate the two frag tanks I have down to a single tank. That way i can take the lights back and put them where they belong, over the main tank.
Im still not finished with the aquascaping but right now getting light over the tank is the priority.
A few pics for anyone interested:

I can actually reach every part of the tank.
The thing with a custom build like this is that you can build the tank to hold your weight along the rim. I basically climb a stepladder and lean over while supporting some-not much- of my weight on the tank edge. It really is very solid.
Doing that I can reach everywhere, from the rfont or the back.

Everything looks amazing! Your '07 TOTM is my all time favorite TOTM... I look at the photos almost daily lol. This set up should be just as beautiful. Are you going to be sticking with the same CA reactor? Do you have the RKE set up yet?

I miss that layout and also look at those pictures with a great sense of loss. This tank may or may not come close to what i had, but i wanted to try a different approach. So far Im likig the way the fish have more space to swim- time will tell if the corals like it as much as the fish do.
I will use the same reactor, yes.
I havent got the RKE running yet since I have yet to get all the lights/pumps/heaters etc running.
I still have a lot of work to do with the scaping, but im almost done moving corals into the tank. Once i get that done I can get all the lights over the tank and spend time getting the final touches right.

I dont have the RKE running yet, but hope to do so inside a few days.
Yesterday I got the skimmer running. What a difference that made. The water is now crystal clear- until one of the wrasses kicks the sand bed up that is. Within a few hours the Orca 250 was pulling gunk.
Today I am working on sump #2. The main sump (150g rubbermaid) is full of rock- about 150lbs. The next sump is a 100g that will have an 8 inch sand bed and chaetomorpha growing in it. This will be fed by the main pump, but will passively overflow into the main sump. To do that I need to raise it by 8 inches. Fortunately cinder blocks are cheap and very handy.
Once I get it all done, and the floor cleaned- (its a real mess right now) Ill post a few pics.

With the help of Glenn and Greg I completed a little more of the aquascaping and the refugium.
The 100g refugium has around 400lbs of aragonite sand overlayed with a crushed coral gravel. There is about 10 inches of water above that with a little chaetomorpha which I hope will grow.
The idea with the crushed coral is to provide a home for the pods to populate the refugium as well as stopping dust clouds coming up from the aragonite.
I also have about 100lbs of LR in there until I get the next sump set up which will be a dar refugium containging crushed and whole pieces of LR.
The aquascaping we did consisted of making a pillar and branching structure in the middle back of the tank. I have a few more pieces to add and then I think the rock work will be done.
Ill snap a few pictures later of the progress.
