Finally saw this in person it's simply amazing! Nothing compares to the look of a well aquascaped tank that is 4ft from front to back.

To me the thought of "throwing caulerpa into the tank" is a bit scarier. :eek2:
WELL...THANK YOU VERY MUCH!...I promised myself that my new 450g acrylic would be my LAST upgrade...then YOU have to show me a 600g HYBRID tank...next you'll tell me that it gets better gas mileage, too! So... to get even, I taking some of your ideas, and USING them! (don't worry, I'll never admit, where they came from!) Please remember...imitation is the sincerest form of flattery! GREAT JOB!

Sorry about that....
The store I purchased him from (Aquarium Oddballs in Tulsa), had him eating flake and pellet prior to me buying him. I then held him in quarantine for a month and made sure he had plenty of algae and nori sheets to munch on as well as the foods I feed my tank.
I acclimated him to the tank using a cage dropped into the 600g so the other fish could get accustomed to him, and released him to the system. Had him about 6months now.

There is a light blue fish - looked to me like some type of wrasse, that was ripping into the calupera with the same gusto as the tangs (at 29 seconds in the video)... what was that guy?

Thats a 6 inch green coris wrasse, Halichoeres chloropterus. He isnt actually eating the caulerpa, he is pulling it out of the way to get to the pods under it. If you watch him he stares at the rock, then goes for it.
Like all Halichoeres species (the yello coris, the melanurus, christmas and ornate wrasse), he is a great hunter of live foods and stuff we would consider as pests such as nudibranchs.

I appreciate your recommendation of the Halichoeres that I have. Both the melanurus and yellow coris have done well... of course I didn't dare put any Berghia in their tank.
Too bad the Red Coris isn't from the same happy genus...
