Over the Holidays I had chance to get some more pictures, and was able to compare some growth patterns. Im really pleased to say that the growth I am getting is great....even tho I broke the calcium reactor on my large tank.
Anyways..... a few posts back I posted some pics of the front of the tank in shadow. Here are a few with just the front lights on.
This is the pillar of rock on the far left side.
at the top of it are a montipora superman- from Wet pets and an encrusting green montipora that I received from Lori (saltysooner) about 6 mo ago as a frag.
To the right of a superman is an acropora valida (purple tips) and to the left is a piece of a green bodied orange polyped monti digitata (originally from Tubs). In front of and to the left of the green encrusting monti are two frags I received around august of a purple monti and a monti with light green with bright blue/purple polyps.
This is the top of the second pillar. Its a little hazy due to it being 16 inches through the water.
The main coral here is a green Acropora abroholsensis that was reived from TimV, who originally received it as a tiny frag from SeanF several years ago. In front of that is a ORA Rose millipora. To the left of these are an orange digitata (white bodied) and two blue acroporas. I believe the one at the front is a blue slimer from either Charlie or Lori. The one behind Im not sure of but was purchasd from Extreme corals.
This is a coral placed beteween rocks on the far right pillar, a blue tipped table acropora.
you can the same coral just above center of this picture of the right pillar
and the top of this pillar:
these have to be several of my favorite corals. The super bright purple pink catspaw was received from Lawboy about 10 weeks ago. If moved lower it would be more of a blue color. Thegreen Speck is a small piece of a bali green slimer. I am not sure of the identity of the coral at the top.
and a last pic: for now anyways.....
Regards,
Paul.
