600 gallon NEW BUILD

Quite the opposite. These films work in situations where theres more light on one side than the other. In my application I can't see from the front through to the back unless it's at night (no tank lights) and the room behind is lit. Once it's daytime and certainly when the tank lights are on then you can't see through. Then if you're behind the aquarium you're simply looking through into the brighter lit side as if you were in a limo and looking out. It works fine although there is certainly a skill in applying the stuff, you can probably get an auto guy to do it for not too much money.

I can post up some pics if you want.

VERY INTERESTING..Thanks.

great article..thank you Dave.(what were we talking about again??)
My protocol is to shoot first and ask questions later..in other words;
-as soon as I see something I do not recognize 100%, I catch it before it disappears (potentially forever)
-then I try and ID it.If there is doubt...out it goes for good!

I went through the whole thread man and the tank looks gorgeous. I am working on a build right now and I took a lot of pointers :)

Keep up the good work.

Ricardo - Beautiful build

I plan on using your build as inspiration for the fiancé for our up coming build I have found it helps to show her an example of what something could look like when I am justify the credit card bills.

Would you mind telling me the dimensions of your overflows? Also what size piping did you use for your drains?

Thanks you!

I'm surprised no one else has asked... Do you play strictly acoustic or are there any electrics in your harem?

The build is an inspiration!

My overflows (each box) are 28L x 6 deep x 8 high.They are large because my piping is 1 1/2 sch 80 which made the installation very easy.I would highly recommend this size if you have the room...no regrets
