Do you remember how much did you pay for the base rocks???
Do you know the prices of Carib sea dry Aragonite Flammingo reef sand – 1-2 mm diameter grain size and Carib sea dry Aragonite Fiji Pink reef sand – 05-1.5 mm diameter grain size?
I think the prices in Kuwait are much cheaper than Bahrain…

I already bought the Seachem Meridian Sand long time a go from Kuwait and its grain size (a fairly uniform .25 to .50 mm) but now I change my mind because I think the Seachem Meridian sand will get blown around in a tank with a lot of flow, "reclouding" the tank when fishes start to play around and finally the sand shifting around and leaving bare spots in certain areas.
I think the Carib sea dry Aragonite Flammingo reef sand – 1-2 mm diameter grain size going to be much better than Seachem Meridian .25mm to .50 mm or what do you think??

Wow man cant believe you've been up here! Im guessing you came to FORT BLISS? I go to Juarez,Mexico all the time haha.Im sure you had a good time down there.. But I love your tank cant wait to see the finished product.

Yesterday I take the stand to the fiberglass factory to apply fiberglass all around the steel, but I been told by the fiberglass specialist that I have to remove the paint first because the fiberglass will not hold up on the paint.
So now the plan has been changed, now I am planning to cover all steel stand with 19 mm PVC sheets instead of plywood.
Even underneath the aquarium I will use 19 mm PVC sheet

Are you sure about the price of the base rock. 68 BD is to much for 40lbs.
I will get them from Kuwait for 27 BD.

Abdullah. ... The whole shop is a rip off.... I was shocked with the price too but this is their price, they will reduce price but not much thats why i suggested kuwait from my first email to you.
Check Macrorocks from USA... Email them and see their prices with shipping. If i remember correctly. ... Same price range.
Last week was very busy week for me, I received some of my living room furniture and I received my stand only yesterday.
When they opened the boxes to assemble my living room set, I found out that I ordered the wrong color but there is nothing I can do at the moment. I am going to have to live with it, but I will repaint all walls again and then I will see if it became ok or not. If not then I am going to install wood all over my marble sheet
The stand was very heavy, I brought 8 people to take it inside my house and they were struggling

With PVC sheet you do not have to worry about spilling water like you will with plywood.
