600 Gallon Upgrade Build

I'm also pretty lucky to live close by an inlet to grab ocean water. I hook up the pool hose to a sump pump and collect 100 to 150 gallons at a time for me and a few other reefing buds.

Man I wish I was that lucky. Didn't know there was such a thing as a pool hose

Mhsmith, they wouldn't use a eurobrace on a glass tank, no real need. I asked my guy and on acrylic it's not a real need just a safety precaution that he uses. He also doesn't build tanks for a living....;) but he does do good work on tanks.:D

For the noise, like Worm said you fine tune it. Put a gate valve on it and adjust it that way

I probably will go both routes considering the fact that I have to replumb the drain again once the tank gets here.

My tank builder said they usually join the 2 drains into one prior to it going into the sump. Would you put a gate valve after that T or on both drains prior to the T?
