600 Gallon Upgrade Build

did you take any pics of your tank today when you went to see it?

They called to finalize the schematics as the tank before it was built. I went to change the design as we talked about. They were suppose to start this week but I believe they won't start until next week unless I get a surprise.

haha that quote thing not workin wayne sucks lol....

it is true, you can never do to much research., however, I do believe to much research can some times hinder the thought planning process. you tend to over think, and second guess decisions, and over plan, keep changing plans, etc etc

I do?

Thanks D. How's things going on with your setup? I was at the tank maker today and he was building your tank except it was 48" tall instead of wide.

Things are progressing, currently working on wrapping up new fish qt. That would be rough to work in but know that you can do some beautiful aquascaping too!

Wayne, good news that you're out of the hospital. I really hope you and the docs can pinpoint what happened to you. Not knowing stuff like that is rough, and it's kind of draining while you're doing all the tests, etc. to try and figure it out. Good luck man, and vent on RC all you want!

Speaking for myself, there is definitely a point of too much planning. I've sketched out my tank, bought a hulking skimmer and 2 100G water storage containers, only to realize after living in our new 120 year-old house, that there is NO WAY i'm fitting a 300+ tank w/ a fish room into this house until I win the lottery and add a new wing to this house, including digging out more basement space! And then I started figuring out how long it would take me to dig out the basement myself! LOL. So as long as your build is taking, some of us have it worse, man.

Take care. The state of Florida doesn't want anybody seizing up on a pink bicycle anyway. :)

Yea that would be illegal.

no I meant in general. the more time you have and research, one idea looks really good, then another idea seems better, then you see a 3rd option, and by then your mind is like whatttttttt lol...at least for me I get like this...

Oh I understand now. Truth be told, I am guilty of over planning, thinking, and research.

Wayne, glad to hear you are out of the hospital and pressing forward with your new tank build! You are a stud! Keep up the great work buddy!

Good.. so since you are better Lets get this off the ground. I need you to lift the tank on to the stand before I get there. That plumbing needs to be measured and dry fit also. Once we get the glue on it I am not going to cut it out.

Actually though. I am glad you are doing better.

My thoughts exactly but still no tank and I have to redo/alter the plumbing because of new configuration. Did you get my text the other day?
