600 Gallon Upgrade Build

Week one of boot... Put your feet inside the footprints, not beside them and not over them. Those boot prints are big boots to fill.

LOL

Come on get better... I want this tank filled!

Yea I remember that day. I can't tell you how many push-ups I did for stepping out the boot without permission.

Wayne, I am sorry about the knee. I live somewhat near you, and if I can help with the build while you recover let me know. My schedule is a bit hectic but I can make something work!

Man I just got caught up on your thread. I wish you a speedy recovery with the knee. That just blows that your are getting sidetracked. The fish are very pretty. I love the color.

Its ok. That would be cool if you could when your schedule slows down. I know youre a busy man at work and with family. I might need some help on small projects to complete for the build. Thanks again for the offer.

It is starting to become my story line. Once something goes good, something always sets me back. I feel I am letting all the other reefers watching watching my build down. Depending on the surgery the doctor says I could be out up to 2 months and that's before rehab.:rolleye1::rolleye1::rolleye1:

You my friend are most certainly not letting any of us down. We will all be thrilled for you when you get that tank filed but in the mean time you offer help and humor to all of us what more can we ask for.

I hope your knee heals quickly.

Do you still have my number? It's the best way to get a hold of me. Just let me know what projects you are doing and I will be glad to help. Again we will just have to work out times.

I have learned a positive attitude and humor heals all wounds. I hope the damage isn't to serious. Its already been 16 months and am about to lose the bet against Dustin for Empty Tank Of The Month honors.

Wayne, Wayne, Wayne...buddy just keep your leg up and your spirits up as well! Besides, that leg brace would make a great base structure for your rock stack when your leg gets better! It could at least keep your skimmer body shaded from your refugium light!

Wayne,

Against doctors orders do what I did! Wait until there is no more pain then just get the heavy lifting done for you. Once that's done learn how to use a step ladder on one foot and start aquascaping! It's all up hill from there and the tank does better because my stinken hands aren't always in it sine it's too much of a hassle getting in. I can't put any weight on my foot and I have another 4 -6 weeks left, this started before new years. Like you mentioned above "I have learned a positive attitude and humor heals all wounds" If the doctors understood how much this hobby does for our mental state they would encourage us to work on the tanks even more, since mind works over matter. I know for sure that once I got my tank going I started feeling allot better, especially since large tanks occupy allot of your time so they help while your just sitting at home. I am known in the NYC LFS as the guy with the foot scooter or crutches!

My best bet is to get some help because i cant take the pressure anymore. I will have to put my pride aside and ask a couple people to help me out. I was hoping to get healthier before hand. I go and get the MRI done tomorrow then I will know the outcome of that. Thanks for the advice and I will let you guys know the results. Thank you Adam and everyone for your support.
