600 Gallon Upgrade Build

I had a funny feeling about the drain t's. I was going to suggest connecting the two drains with a oversized T, that way if one drain stops up it will flow to the other via the T and eliminate splashing.

Water shot out the tops of those tees. Got caps like you said and drilled a hole in each and it's been quiet ever since..........until the return pipe exploded.

Are you wet with excitement yet?

Best picture I can get. There are better pics earlier in the build. I can't remember which page they're on.

Any plans on improving the look of the rubber membrane under the sump?
This is gonna be an awesome sump area but I can't get past the untrimmed edges and wrinkles. I would suggest covering it with ceramic tiles just laid flat without cement and mortar. And around the edge, just simple painted 2x2's.

There, it's off my chest. :)

Looking good. Seems we are both pretty close to the same steps in our builds. Nerve racking isnt it? Its a whole another level of anxiety when water starts going in. Im always amazed at how water always shows where the weaknesses are. I just recently filled mine and started up the system.

Keep up the good work. I sincerely wish you the best of luck.
