600 Gallon Upgrade Build

Cleaning acrylic with a mag float....I cut a mr clean white foam pad in half and rubber band them to the cleaner....on the outside I clean the glass and then put a microcloth between the mag and glass...

Also if you need it I have a brand new hammerhead in the box at home....I wasn't going to install it till the following weekend.....if you need it and can come to Tampa I will loan it to you.

Thanks. I called reeflo today and one if the pumps bearings were gone and the shaft the impeller is on is bent on the other pump. I went to the place where I bought them and they gave me two new ones. Just need to replumb when I'm free.

Reeflo came through and replaced both of my pumps. Just finishing hooking them back up to the system and I am back to full power. Can't wait until the weekend to get the finishing touches to the back room hopefully.

The build will be delayed for a couple months as I will be having surgery in a couple weeks. I'm just trying to get things fine tuned until then.

Wow, what a builld thread. I just read the entire thing, every single post. Your tank looks amazing. Congratualtions.

I do have one question (well, about 200 actually, lol). I am getting ready to set up an 8 foot long 225 gallon and love to learn from others. My question is, how do you like your over the back returns? I'm thinking that will be the best option for my set up.

Thank you. I am honored that you took the time to read my build. The over the back returns are temporary because I want to replace them with sea swirls. But as they are now I am very happy with them.

Dang Dude I just caught up on your recent pump issue. Glad all is well now. You are like a incident magnet...lol. Hang in there and keep plugging along!
