6000/6100 question

I'm sorry if this question has been asked and answered before, but I'm wondering why the Tunze 6000/6100 pumps are hardwired to the blue boxes. Every time I have to clean my 6100, I also have to pull out the blue box through the maze of tubes and wires that lead from under the tank to the pump. Is there a reason why there isn't a quick disconnect between 6000/6100 and the blue box?

If you open the blue box it disconnects inside. We didn't include a quick disconnect inline and from the numerous do it yourself disconnects I have had to undo and repair I can see why. It seems they have a high tendency to get wet or have salt creep enter the connection and this short can destroy the pump and driver. It just seems to be a weak link to do this.
