6000 or 6100 difference?

I have a Tunze Stream that says "6100" on the pump but "6000" on the box. Is there a way to tell the difference based on the transformer? I spoke to someone else who received their Stream in the opposite manner (6000 label, 6100 box). I understand that both pumps are identical and the transformer dictates the output. I would just like to know if there were a way to confirm other than relying on the pump's label.

Thanks,
Ken

Their is no such thing as a 6000 labeled pump. The motor block of both pumps is part number 6100.100 and all motors will have that label. The transformer of a 6000 is part 7210.202 and on a 6100 it is part 7410.602.

Good question... I always wondered, I thought they just messed up the order...
The Stream PUMP BODY is labeled 6100
Blue Controller Box is 7240.27
Round Transformer is 7210.202A

So, what pump do I have? 1850gph (6000) or 3175gph (6100)?
The pump BODY says 45w...

Ok, well my transformer is labeled 7210.202A, that would make my pump #6000 @ 1850gph. (it's what I ordered). Just seems strange, but for a modular system I guess it's alright. The PUMPS are all the same, it just depends on the TRANSFORMER used.

Good to know, I was a little confused... Here I thought I had a 3175gph Stream pump.. LOL

Yep I also thought I got a 6100 for the price of the 6000 when I saw the box

When I got my 6000, all packaging had 6100 labeled on it, even the pump I think. That is when I found out about the transformer difference
