6000 Stream

I have had this for about 4+ years. It seems to make a low hum.
I have seen there are new propellers. Should or could I use a new one in this?

Yes, you can use 6100.70.

I got a new 6100.70 and the pump is still making a low hum. When I say low, I mean frequency.
It does this only when it is turned all the way up.
When it is lower (about half way) you can barely hear the hum. All the way to low, it can't be heard.

Just so you know, the pump was cleaned really good with ezeclean before I ordered the new part.

Can you hear this from more than a couple feet away from the tank? What holder are you using?

I can hear it from across the room.
It is easy to distinguish because of the low frequency.

I cannot promise a solution for a noise issue, the causes vary too much as does sensitivity to sound. If you send me the pump though I will do my best to resolve it.

I will think about sending it in. I really don't want to part with it though. It's such an important part of the tank.
If it starts to really drive me up the wall, I will send it.
