6025 & 6015

I purchased a 6015 from a pet store in Houston on Saturday but it doesn't have the protective grating? The 6025 I got from there also and the front cover won't stay on without the use of a small tie wrap? Should I make the trek back to Houston and see what the store says or can you help with these?
These were both new in box.

the clamp usually holds the front on the pump. if the pump holder is loose, you can squeeze the clamp to hold the front of the pump together better.

6015 is a no frills economy pump and the protective grid is not included. Since the pump is intended to run continuously it is not usually needed.

The 6025 cover should stay on, the usual culprit would be that the pump or cover was squeezed in shipping and is a bit out of round, squeezing it back to round will get it to click together properly. If you have trouble, I can get it exchanged.
