Roger I had problems with my first 6025, you fixed it and I love it. I purchased another one after my last tank upgrade. This one is spitting out streams of micro bubbles. Any suggestions on fixing it myself.
The micro bubbles are coming from air getting sucked into the pump some how and the pump is chopping them up. Likely too close to something kicking a few bubbles its way up or it is grabbing a bit of air from the surface as it could be too close. Try moving it and see if it stops
I agree with Shawn, this would be the most likely culprit, the only other possibility is internal vacuum but this would be unlikely on a new pump. If it is jammed with some calcium build up, this could be a culprit.
