6025 consistency

I have (2) 6025's in my tank. one is definately stronger then the other and has better flow. is this due to normal manufacturing tolerances?

Technically this should not be possible, the way synchronous pumps work is they change polarity 60 times a second, at 60Hz, this gives the magnet a spin of 3600 rpm. The only possibility is perhaps you got one with a 50Hz prop which would pump more, or the bracket is on in such a way it is obstructing the intake.

its wierd, i left the bracket in place and put the other stream in there and it definatley moves more water then the other. No big deal just checking!

It would be bad to have a 50hz prop, it will burn out the motor, it is bigger and meant to turn at 3000rpm, check if one is bigger than the other.

will do. Also anyway to get the output screens? Mine had none when they arrived and I already had a snail get caught in one!

I would like to get an output screen too. I also am having problems with mine starting up. It has not started up twice. It is on a timer and when I got home from work I had to reach in and grab it and then it starts.

Pm me an address for screens as well as quantity. Before running on a timer I would let the pumps break in with continuous use for a few days. They must have a very specific start up voltage between 100-130V, if you already have a loaded circuit there may not be enough power, in extremes of this voltage range it can take 20 seconds to start.
