6025 Elastic Buffers?

I just purchased a nanostream 6025. The instructions detail "attaching self adhesive elastic buffers on the two parts of the Magnet Holder". I cant find them in the box. Do I need them?

They are not critical, they are small rubber feet that come on a piece of paper not much bigger than a large postage stamp, double check the box. They increase the hold and prevent scratches.
