6025 NanoStream not functioning

I have 4 - 6025 Nano's running and one of them stopped. It was covered heavily with coralline algae. I took it out and put it into a vinegar solution and was able to remove all the algae. I also cleaned out the impeller as well.

When I plug it in it humms but will not spin the impellar. If I manually move the impellar it works. I let it run in vinegar for more than 24 hours and it continues to act this way. Unless, I manually move the impellar it will not work.

They are pretty simple so I am not sure if I missed something? Is there anything I can do with this or is it dead?

After reviewing other posts it looks like my issue is similar to others. When I took it apart to clean the metal shaft dropped right out like I have read happen in other posts. I thought it was normal for the metal shaft to come out.

Guess I need to send to get repaired....

We replace the motor in these cases. I am out of motors but should get more in next week.

Roger - I can send it in if you like. I see you putting the address for shipment in previous threads. Should I use that and just add the note stating the issue? I have no problem waiting until you get more motors in.

Thanks Greg
