6025 rattling

I purchased a tunze 6025 yesterday and it seems really noisy. I can hear it rattling outside of the tank and if I put my ear on the tank the thing is really noisy.

I took everything apart and put it back together this morning - still rattles. Is this common for this line of pumps? Anything I can do to make it silent?

How old is the pump? My guess would be the pump is either a pre June 2007 model and the shaft or drive unit has broken or worn out or the pump was rapidly cycled off and on and the drive unit has broken. In June 2007 we changed the shaft material and mounting and the drive unit was reinforced further.
