6025 sucking water in

My 6025 is sucking water in. Is there a way to change this?

If it's a nanostream you're writing about, them simply move your hand in front of the nozzle (as if you were trying to block the jet of water) - this should reverse the direction of the propeller's rotation. I had similar issue with both of my 6025s.

The cause of this is the spacing is off. The drive unit has a nub on the bottom and there is a disk at the base of the shaft, these space the drive unit correctly in the magnetic coil. When these parts wear down the spacing is wrong and the drive unit cannot correct its rotation on its own. We added an additional stainless steel washer to prevent this wear. How old are your 6025's?

The 6025 is around year and a half old.

So it is one of the very first ones, it couldn't be more than one year old, they just came out last October. Is the shaft firmly in the motor? If ths shaft is in the motor ( not removable) than the drive unit and disk is worn and that is the only parts you need.

It should automatically correct itself, it could be dirty (calcium fouled) but being an early version of the pump I suspect something is mechanically wrong.

What is required to get it fixed/replaced?

If you can determine the cause yourself (worn disk/ drive unit) I can send the parts, otherwise you can send it in and I will fix it, the pump has a 2 year warranty.
