Tonight I was sitting with my wife and I heard a loud rattling noise from my tank so I went to look and it was one of my 6045 powerheads. What was happening was the propeller was hitting the side of the plastic cage. So i unplugged it and took the front piece of plastic off then took the propeller off just like i do when i clean them and noticed the metal shaft was broke.
Why it broke i have no clue. I got them with my tax return this year so they are only 6 months old. I cant remember if these come with a waranty or not.
If you can help me get going in the right direction as far as replacing it or repairing it I would appreciate it.
I guess the first thing i have to do is find my receipt
