6045 prop.

I just noticed one of my 6045's was not moving any water. Upon further investigation I see that the chrome rod that sits inside the magnet broke and took the prop with it. I have had these now for about 8 months and I am a bit surprised on the reliability of these small pumps. The mount for this one also is now very loose which I noticed when removing it to find out the problem. Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem. Thanks Rod

These were both known problems with early batches and have both been since resolved by tunze. The shafts are being made by a different manufacturer now and the clamps you mentioned have since been recently redesigned using a different plastic. I will let Roger(rvitko) chime in but he will most likely have you send it in for replacement.

Thanks for the reply at least I feel a little better as these are not cheap pumps and I wanted something reliable which I do not mind spending money for. Rod

If you send me the pump we will replace the clamp and motor.
