6045 shaft broke

My shaft broke off flush inside and I can't get it out. I took some pics, any help would be greatly appreciated....

Send in the motor with a note in the box with your return address and contact info for replacement. If received by Nov 7 you will not need a receipt as that is the 2 year date for the release of the nanos but after that date you may.

6045's actually didn't come out till January so just send it in, that is an older stainless steel shaft and they could break due to impurities in the steel. We use a titanium alloy now. Send the complete pump, I don't need the clamp and magnet but the actual pump should be replaced.

I just had the same thing happen to mine. Do you send in the entire pump, including impeller? I have another 6045 that I bought at the same time and has the same shaft. Should I send it in as well for replacement?

Yes, send the entire pump. It is possible to have a pump with a titanium shaft and one with a stainless shaft depending on when you bought them. If both have the flat cords they definitely have the stainless steel shaft. Send the other one in and I will look at it as well and replace it if necessary.

The shaft on my 6045 just broke today; I also have a 6025 that was purchased at the same time, but it's shaft isn't broken - yet. It does have problems at start-up. Should I send both pumps in?

As requested above, I sent in both of my 6045s since the shaft had broken in one and the other was purchased at the same time and appeared to be identical. Yesterday, I got a package from Tunze and to my surprise, there were 2 new 6045s in the box. I've always heard they went above and beyond.
