how often should they be cleaned and w what. thanks. also what would best placement for flow be in stardard 75g w corner overflow be. live rock in two seperate island in middle of tank.

The first time I cleaned my 6055 was about 5 months after they were in the tank. It was too long. Every tank is different but I will clean mine at 4 months the next time.
I use undiluted vinager to clean the pumps. It works very well.
As far as placement, if you have 2 of these pumps I would recommend on opposing sides of the tank. You will get the best random flow this way. But again every tank is different. But the goal if you have corals is the get the best random flow.
