6055 rythmatic vibration problem

Hi,
I took my 6055's out yesterday and cleaned them, I had a small vibration I could hear when one pump was running. I cleaned both pumps and reassembled and returned hem to the tank. Now 1 of the pumps has has a MAJOR vibration problem and I cannot find out what is doing it. I have dissassembled it about 4 times and looked for any idiot reassembly problems but I cannot find anything wrong. The vibration pattern starts slow and builds to a very loud pitch and then cycles back and begins again. Is it possible I pushed the metal shaft too far into the rubber seat in the back of the motor housing causing this? I cannot find any deposits or broken rotating parts to cause this.
Help me figure out how I could screw this up, Please!

repair parts order

I just ordered some replacement parts from the Tunze website US.
Can you give me any idea how long it takes to get these parts here to Wisconsin? Do they ship from Germany or here in the USA?
I ordered a new impeller and washer for the 6055 I asked about earler in my post on vibration. I don't want to ruin the motor but I need the pump to circulate water.

Thanks

Hey Shawn
No I had noticed a small vibration in pump 1 and they were about due for cleaning (4 months) so I pulled both pumps out and cleaned them. Pump 1 had the shaft stuck in the plastic inside the magnet, I grabbed it with a needle nose pliers wrapped in a rubber sheet so as to not scratch the shaft.as soon as I turned it the shaft came out and I was able to soak the rest and remove the calcium deposits. When I reassembled both pump 2 worked fine but pump 1 had this new vibration. I pushed the metal shaft into the seat inside the motor housing and it stayed there just fine, I inserted the magnet assembly and reassembled the pump. same vibration.
I figured it is toast so I ordered a new assembly from Tunze to see if it will fix the issue.
It is difficult to tell if it loose in the bushing in the rear of the motor. they did not look easy to replace so I figured I would try the magnet assembly. I did not see where I could order the bushing or seat or whatever it is called.

The shafts should not come free and should be permanentally affixed to the motor. Early models had a problem with them coming loose which was rectified. If it was "stuck" to the impeller and got pulled out by force when you cleaned it lightly hammering it back in could work, but it should not be easily pulled out. Do you have a washer behind the impellers? If so are they white, silver or black. I will leave the end answer to roger but this should help him answer

Both of my 6055's have always since new had the shafts slip right out of the motor, I guess I figured that was how they were suppost to be. I did get some of the first ones out. They have a silver washer and a little white spacer on the motor end of the shaft. I did notice where the silver washer rides on both there is witness marks on the shafts.
Thanks for the info.

I got your order but I think it is best we cancel it and you send in the pumps as the shaft is the main problem, it is permanently fixed in the motor. If they come out, the pump is usually destroyed.

If you PM me your name I can look into it. Typically we complete a repair within a day of receipt and have it sent back.
