Hi Roger,
Just got my 6055 Nano pump.
Looks good runs good and quiet, however the "Fish Care" function is very annoying. Loud clank every 15 seconds when pump is not running is unbearable ...
Is there a way to shut that off?
Please tell me it is possible. My Wave box manual indicates that it is too has "fish care function" but WaveBox never does it nor my 6100 pump, so how do i shut this off on my 6055 nano pump?

You cannot shut it off, it should not be that loud. It will make a bit of noise but it shouldn't be audible from more than a few feet from the aquarium. I would try a different angle/ move the holder on the pump and double check that the stainless steel washer is in place under the drive unit.

It's getting quieter already.
Very nice little pump.

I got it running on the Gyre principal together with 6100 pump.

Large 6100 pump is in the left lower corner by the back wall shooting along the back wall on the bottom, and 6055 nano is in top right, 1/3 from the serfice also by the back wall BUT shutting across the tank diagonally from below and up to the left top corner.

This generates amazingly large amount of unidirectional flow. I guess its just the momentum from one pump to the other in the loop

And now my whole tank water moving and i am getting aprox. 9-12 cantimeters per second flow
FYI if someone is interested my tank is 36"x18"x24" (60Gal)
