6060 6080 on wavebox controller?

I don't know what the magic number is on these pumps, but they do need to be left off for a certain amount of time, 15 minutes minimum maybe, or you risk burning them out.

I believe these pumps are designed to run continuously and not on a timer.

No, the 6060 and 6080 need at least 1hr of continuous run time between off cycles to prevent damage to the brake mechanism.

Thank you.

Im planning on making external wave boxes outside of my tank(using glass).

I guess the best pumps for this purpose would be the 6200's?

Would I need to buy different parts for these pumps to make them work with the wavebox controller?

Or would it be beter to buy the wave box pump as is?

I think I read something somewhere about a driver that is needed?

What other tunze accesories would be needed to make this work?

Thank you.

The 6200 and a 6091 controller would work, honestly just buying a wavebox is cheaper. It is also cheaper than piecing together a wavebox pump and controller.

Thank you!

I would end up dismantleing the wavebox as i dont want these things obstructing the view in my tank.

I guess for my second wavebox I could just get a 6200 or the wavebox pump. If I get the 6200 pump is there a mod to do as to run it with the wavebox controller?

Also, how many waveboxes can you run on a controller?

Thanks again!

The electronic pumps as delivered can run on a wavebox controller, no mods are necessary. You can run 2 off the controller as delivered. 4 with 2 branch adapters added.
