6060 in a 90 gal

I have 2 of the 6060s and was wondering about the best placement in the 90gal tank and best way to work them on timers.

I would place one on each end and have one on for an hour and then the other one and give them a 5-15 minute overlap so their is a momentary strong surge.

should the overlap be every hour also. Also does it hurt to turn them off at night, and for how long.

You want some flow at night so I would run one at least, keep in mind animals can enter them at night or any time they are off and get killed or break the prop when the pumps turn on. I would overlap every hour but it isn't all that important, just nice to get a real burst of flow to stir things up.

Thanks for your help. I decided to just let them run on the off on cycle all the time, with 15 minutes of a strong serge.
Anyone want to buy my mag pumps lol.
