6060a only starts in reverse

This just started a few days ago i have pulled the impeller out and inspected and clean and it seems to be in good shape but 100 out of 100 times the pump will start in reverse or simply lock up and not turn at all. Not sure what else to do.

Usually the brakes shoes are loose or jammed by calcium or debris or the bush bearing has slipped out a bit. Keep me posted.
