6080.500 broken tabs

I have a pair of 6100's and the tabs on the magnet holders broke on both of them. This is probably because of what I am doing with the pumps, which is using them to generate a wave in the tank, not using a wavebox. I don't want the box because it takes up too much space in tank. The pumps go full on and full off once every second or so. The effect on the tank is dramatic but the pumps themselves move with all the on/off action and the constant stress is breaking the tabs off in just a couple of weeks.

Is there a more durable part that i can buy that would stand up to this kind of treatment? maybe some other way to connect the pumps to the magnets. Or is there a DIY solution that would keep the pumps more stationary? hopeing to incorporate the magnets into the solution in some way.

Thanks.

I would probably just glue the 6200.230 mount to the magnets and that should permanently solve the problem.

That sounds like a simple enough solution. I'll try that with some silicone. I think that would be a good glue to use. Thanks flash. :p

I would use a good epoxy or plastic cement, silicon doesn't adhere well to plastic, it would be a short term fix.
