6080 help needed

I have a 125g standard glass tank. I just installed a 6080 with the magnet so the pump is "hanging" on the magnet clip.

This causes it to lean forward towards the bottom of the tank, which of course is kicking up my sandbed.

Is there anything I can do to make the pump point up towards the top more?

A couple of solutions are possible. You can shim up the pump with a small piece of plastic between the holder piece and the magnet, like a sliver of an old credit card. You can turn the magnet holder slightly sideways allowing you to angle the pump slightly upward, this requires securing the pump with a screw or cable tie to the post however.
