i have a 30*30 pentagon corner tank. i was wondering if i could buy a 6060 or 6080 and put a 6200 front cover on it. i want to do this so i can put the pump in the center of the tank. do you think it be be wide enough for the tank.

i currently have a 6025 and a 6045. i can add in another but would rather just take out the two and use one.

Those two pumps seem like plenty of flow for your tank...I have a 6025 on my 40 gallon and if I'm not carefull on how to point it will blow sand everywhere.

I saw your tank on you SC thread looks very nice, specially the cabinetry.

good luck with the new tank;)

The flow will be wider but with a shorter reach so instead of 2 by 4 ft for a 6060 or 2 by 6ft for a 6080 it will be about 30" by 36" and 30" by 54". It is a small tank for a full size stream. I would worry about the sand bet. My suggestion would be a 6101 and with careful placement you should be able to get the full spread without the cover swap.
