6091 controller not working

My wavebox controller is not working it sometimes lights up and works and other times it dont do anything.

Any chance of anything getting wet? When the lights are off does the pump still run? If not does the pump work properly without the controller? Have you checked the connections for oxidation or corrosion? Has the pump been cleaned recently?

No its hung on the canopy and when the lights are off the pumps dont run but when i unplug the controller everything runs fine.

I could be wrong but my first thoughts is if it has been a while since cleaned is to give a pump a thourgh cleaning( see the alarm sticky thread). My reasoning is the pump may be locking up and thus cutting power to the controller as a result... hence the no lights. I know I have seen roger say in the past that controller problems are few and far between and most often problems are with the pumps instead.

I dont think its the controller cause i borrowed a controller from my buddy since his wavebox is not in use right now and it works fine.

so your wavebox works fine with a different controller and when you go back to yours the problem returns? If so I think we will have to wait for roger's thoughts but he might have you send it it to look at when he returns from germany.

Yea that is true the wavebox works fine with a different controllerand when i plug my controller back in nothing.

Sorry for the late response, the last few days have been too hectic with the trade show for me to get online. Please send in the controller. It is very rare for a wavebox controller to fail and in a canopy, condensation could be a problem. If there is no evidence of water damage and it is less than 2 years old it will be replaced under warranty. I get back to the office on the 24th.
