6100 impeller replacement

Roger,

My (2) 6100s which I have had running for about three years nonstop are in need of some work. The sleeve at the top of both blocks shows ware and one of the impellers has had the top snap on cover that goes over the brake arms has popped off and doesn't really want to go back on and stay. Can I replace it with this part (6100.700) or do I need to use the original part that has the brake arms? If the new impeller assembly is okay do I also need the sleeve that is worn?

You can replace it with 6100.70 and that includes all parts. In the meantime you could crazy glue the bearing shell to the shaft.

Thanks Roger. Where is the best place to order it from, I tried to order some parts from Marine Depot a while back and it took some coordinatin between you and them to get it.
