6100 in a 72 bow front

If a 6100 is turn down to the minimum flow, will that be too much for a 72 bow front? What would you consider as the ideal flow setup in that size and shaped tank? PLMK. Thanks, Mike

I would think the bow front would create a good swirling movement with any stream. I'm putting 2-6100's in a 115 flat-backed hex tank. I'm hoping the angled front corners will create some deflection from the streams.

It depends what you are keeping, I would only use a 6100 in a bare bottom SPS tank. The 6000 is more appropriate for most 72 gallon set ups.

Thanks for the input! I have a mixed reef with some SPS in the tank but wasn't thinking of a BB system. If I initailly went with only one 6000, where in the tank would be the best position for the stream?
