6100 mod or screen swap

I have 2 6100 on a multicontroller, and want wider flow for my 48x30x30 tank. How much will it cost to swap out for a 6200 screen for wider and more flow? or do you recommend cutting out some teeth of the current 6100 for more wider flow?

I dont think cutting the teeth will get you what you are looking for as the size of the outlet is what is different

Yes it should widen the flow path coming out from the pump while "slowing down" the flow a bit
