6100 Not Working. What to do?

My 6100 isn't working for some reason. The driver is fine because I hooked it into another transformer and it ran the other pump fine. When i plug it into the other transformer (its own) the box just gets hot to the touch and the pump no longer wrks. Can I take it back to the LFS and exchange it? Do i have to send it in? I don't want to be without a pump in my SPS tank. It is only about two months old if that. I just don't understand how this could happen. Any help is appreciated.

It would have to be sent in, but we work fast. Generally we finish a repair within 24 hours of receipt.

Be sure to include a return address and contact info on a paper in the box. UPS is the preferred since you get a tracking number and insurance of $100.

Thanks Roger. I am going to ship it off today. is it ok if I just send the pump and controller ? The driver is working properly. I just want to save on shipping costs. Thanks

In general I like to get the pump and driver as it makes testing everything much easier. I can supply my own transformer if you are sure your transformer is fine- especially since this is more than half the weight.
