6100 placement on long tank

my new tank will be here in may, it measures 120''long 36''wide by 24''high.

I have 4 6100's and plan on putting two on each end of the tank shooting towards each other of course/alternating.

Since the tank is 36'' wide, how far should i place the 6100's from each other, split the 36'' measurement and keep them 18'' apart?.

I think on a tank this long and wide the best layout would be all pumps on the back wall aimed diagonally and parallel to each other equally spaced. I would use sequential without a night mode.

Roger, i'm looking at the 7095 multicontroller hand book and on page 42 is the setup i think you have in mind, am i correct.

What i would like to achieve would be alternating currents .

That is the one I had in mind. It tends to work very well in big tanks with 4 pumps. The flow surges as all 4 pumps go on and then it falls back to one. I think this will give better results than alternating it but if that is what you want to do, use interval 2 and position the pumps on either end as you first posted.
