6100 Problems

Don't Panic!
So I bought a 6100 pump from a guy on here and I quickly realized that it wasn't as powerful as I expected. Upon doing some research I found out that it is actually a 6000 :bounce1: . This was stupid of me for sure, but not even the problems yet. I used the pump for about 2 weeks before it started having driver alarms constantly. I took the impeller apart and soaked it in vinegar. All parts are very clean and smooth, what could still be causing the driver alarms? Thanks.

If the drive unit is in good working condition and properly assembled, and I would verify that by comparison to the stcikied thread on driver alarms, the likely cause is a dying motor and the motors are no longer available, the replacement on our website is 6100.015, this is an upgrade to 6105, it is a complete 6105 without magnet holder, it instead has an adapter clamp to fit your old holder.

Thanks for the reply. I read the description for the part you listed and it says its the 6101 body. Is this just out of date?

The 6101 doesn't exist any longer, the current 6101.015 is a 6105 pump with adapter clamp, but the old part number references this new item.
