6100's okay in my tank?

Hello,

I have a pair of 6100's on a multicontroller. I was wondering if they would be too much flow in my 120g 60"X30"X18"tall tank. The tank is being converter to sps and the sandbed is a shallow 1/2" layer of larger grit sand (2mm-4mm). I could take the sand out if need be.....

If it was bare bottom it would be fine, it might be a problem with the sand but I can't say for sure.

6100 would be IDEAL IMO!

but im willing to swap for my 6000 tranformers and some cash. I dont think you can run 6100 those with sand.

I'll try the 6100's and if they blow sand I'll trade them out
