6101 problem

Im running 2 6101s on a Tunze controller, only about 6 weeks old & one of the pumps quit. I swapped the power & cord going to the controller & both pumps started working. & then soon after the same pump quit again so I have narrowed it to the pump. Now if you unplug it for a few minutes & plug it back in it will work for awhile then stop again. Do these have some sort of circuit breaker Im resetting? Possible it just has some debris & just needs cleaned?Any ideas of other problems to look for if I attempt to open up the pump.

No, this was a flaw in the first 6101's. If the board inside was too close to the motor a charge builds up over time, shuts the motor off and resetting it temporarily fixes it. If you send me the motor I will replace it.
